About Admission IMS/IMP Students Information - Multi-cultural environment with a global perspective.

The University College of the Caribbean (UCC) welcomes your student application.  Our Customer Service Representatives and personnel from the Registry will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns. You will not be considered for admission until all required documents are submitted. To be considered for admission, please note the following admission criteria:

Bachelor of Sciences and Arts Degree Programmes

  • Applicants must have at least 60  transferable college credits or the equivalent, acquired via an Associate degree, 3 year diploma or other equivalent qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution.
     
  • Individuals may be required to attend an interview and to submit two (2) letters of reference.
     
  • Other qualifications that may be considered equivalent by the Admissions Committee.
     
  • Documents required: Application, Official Transcript, two (2) letters of reference, two (2) recently certified passport size pictures.

Associate of Science/Arts Degree Programmes

  • Passes in five (5) subjects with grades A, B, C or 1 & 2 . Participants with CXC passes at grade 3 since 1998  are also eligible. English Language and Mathematics [or Accounts] must be included among the subjects.
     
  • A pass in the UWI EC080 Remedial Mathematics course will be accepted where an individual does not possess Mathematics at GCE or CXC. Individuals without the required pass in a Mathematics must register to attend CXC/O’Level Math classes as a co-requisite.
     
  • Other qualifications that may be considered by the Admissions Committee as equivalent.
     
  • Applicants may be required to attend an interview.
     
  • Documents required: Application, Official Transcript, two (2) letters of reference, two (2) recently certified passport size pictures.

Masters of Science/Arts Degree Programmes

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a GPA of 3.0 or more from an accredited institution.
     
  • Individuals will be expected to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) prior to admission to the programme (minimum score required: (500)
     
  • 5-8 years of organizational experience, including at least five years in a managerial or professional position.
     
  • Documents required: Application, official transcripts and financial guarantee.

Diploma Programmes

  • 3 CXC/GCE subjects with passes at A, B or C or 1&2 (including English Language and Mathematics or Accounts). Participants with CXC passes at grade 3 since 1998 are also eligible.
     
  • Individuals without the required pass in a mathematics must register to attend CXC/GCE Mathematics classes as a co-requisite.
     
  • Other qualifications that may be considered by the Admissions Committee as equivalent.
     
  • Applicants may be required to attend an interview.
     
  • Documents required: Application, Official Transcript, two (2) letters of reference, two (2) recently certified passport size pictures.

Certificate Programmes

  • Entry into certificate programs may vary from programme to programme.
