Duration

Course Objectives

  • Embraces new and traditional approaches to English studies

  • An opportunity to learn about some of the great literatures of the world

  • Students will be furnished with the ability to solve problems and research and write papers in a creative, critical and disciplined manner

  • Offers an ideal preparation for work in education or public services

  • Suitably qualified candidates may apply for exemption from any of the Foundation courses of the BA English

  • Flexible study programme, not limited by any one particular class time or geographical location

Faculty

  • Instructions will be provided by an eminent and highly qualified team of local faculty and other professionals. Overseas/international guest lecturers will be utilised where appropriate

Target Group
This degree programme is specially designed for persons:

  • Who are seeking to build a platform in advanced linguistic studies or related disciplines
  • Who have recently left high school who wish to pursue a career in the field
  • Who intend to pursue further studies in the area.

Programme Description

  • An upper level component of specialised study in English. On completion of this component the student will be awarded the BA. in English.

  • Applicants must hold either an associate degree or equivalent, or be admitted through the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) route for mature and experienced candidates.
