The University College of the Caribbean is governed by a Board of Governors that designs broad policies for the Institution. The Executive Body is in turn responsible for the implementation of policies and directives from the Board. Board members are given specific portfolio responsibilities and are appointed in recognition of their professional qualifications, expertise and continuing support and commitment to the development of higher education and training in Jamaica. Members of the Board are appointed for a period of two years.
